StartupReminder is a very simple application that allows you to schedule memos for
certain dates (not times - as many real schedulers do); and it allows you to specify a frequency for these memos, because
many things will be recurring on regular basis (e.g. every 14 days, every 2 months, or every year (birthdays!)). If necessary,
you can even get reminded a number of days in advance as well, so you have time to prepare for the event. StartupReminder
will display memos (on the given days) when your computer boots. The advantage of this method is that the program takes up
no system resources whatsoever. Several other freeware programs offerred by the developer on this site.
One in particular for Outlook Express, Outlook Quote Fix.

TinDinTray is probably the most useful application ever created for the Windows
platform, well, at least one of them. TinDinTray shows the current day of month on the system tray (next to the clock). Besides
the aforementioned mother of all necessities, you can also use it to keep notes and set alarms.

The Alarm Clock is a user friendly application that will allow as many alarms to
be set as the user wants. The dates and times of the alarms are saved to a database and are then executed when the correct
time is reached (regarding the Alarm Clock application is open at the time).
I started the application about a
year ago as a reminder program, but then found that I was going over my head and started other projects instead. Only recently
did I find the project half complete and finished it off.
The features of the Alarm Clock are: - Save multiple alarms
- Play audio files using your default audio player
- Open websites using your default web browser
- Shut down your computer
- Display
custom messages
- Set alarms to be daily,
weekly, monthly, yearly or one off
- Set the
exact time for the alarm
- View alarms that
you've already set

Guilt There are a variety of good tools to help remind you of the events
that you really want to remember. RoboGuilt is the first tool designed to help you remember the things you are sort of trying
to forget. RoboGuilt keeps
track of a series of events and activities and each day asks you whether or not you have completed everything for that day.
And then, if there are some things you didn’t manage to do, it sends emails to all the people on your guilt list letting
them know what you didn’t achieve.
