DatePad combines the power of a calender with the ease of a text editor. In DatePad a document exists out of a number of
pages. Each page representing a certain date. When a DatePad document is opened the program automatically creates an entry
for the current day. Entries for other days can easily be inserted. Browsing through all entries is one of the main features
of the program. The program can be used in a lot of different ways. These are some examples: - Enter daily reports of your activities.
- Keep track of your medical history.
- Keep track of the time you spend on a project and the activities involved.
- Write progress reports and project notes.
- Write
down your dreams or your thoughts.
- And a lot more possible
functions...
If it's required that the data entered is send to another person or company there are a number of ways to export
the data. The easiest way is to save a DatePad document as text and send that. The nicest result can be achieved by saving
the document to RTF and enhancing the document in Word. The most structured way is to save to XML. This way other automated
processes can be used to handle the data.
