It can be used to store notes, code snippets, to-do lists, contact information, etc. I've intentionally made TakeNote work exclusively with plain text (i.e. without formatting) to keep it small and simple. There are other programs on the Web much more powerful and advanced, but all of them are big, slow, and resource-intensive! The basic idea in KeyNote is that you can include many separate notes within a single file. Keynote's interface and behavior are extremely configurable. rndNoter is probably the worlds easiest and fastest noting solution. The program minimizes to tray where it stays until you need it. Lots of people are familiar with this scenario: You got a bit of information that you need to write down or paste somewhere.
