Berger-Organizer Words from the author: BORG is a combination calendar and task tracking system. The calendar supports
all sorts of appointments and also a simple todo list. The calendar functionality is similar to that of other PIMs, such as
Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Calendar, Palm Desktop, Yahoo Calendar, etc... The Task Tracker goes way beyond todo's and might
better be called a project tracking system. BORG is basically meant to be a small self-contained
Java application that you can run locally (i.e. without a network). Many users run
it from a thumb drive. BORG actually stands for Berger-Organizer. Unfortunately, the name BORG
seems to be a popular choice for software products, probably due to the number of Star Trek fans that write code. The fact
that BORG calendar also seems to refer to the Microsoft Outlook calendar makes things even more confusing. Oh well.... Check these five great
screenshots.

program that can help you manage your personal and business life. With EfficientPIM you can keep track of contacts, appointments,
tasks, to-do lists, birthdays, and much more. The program also gives you space for keeping notes, diaries, and even passwords.
In order to be successful you need to be organized and efficient. With EfficientPIM all of the things you need to manage are
located in one, easy-to-use interface. I found this on another site and I think the real free edition is history. This could be the best one of the bunch!

Note Mania enables you to maintain a list of personal notes, appointments,
ideas etc. and optionally display them as small desktop stickies. You can attach files to a note and also schedule them to
remind you at a certain time and date. The Note Mania Pad window displays a list of all your notes. You can filter the list
by time range and also view them in a calendar display on your desktop. Other features include customizable appearance and
transparency and support for recurring reminders. I like this one.
