Phonebook 2.3 I know there are probably a thousand of these but this one has the perfect interface and I like the features especially the
email feature.
From the author: When I released Phonebook 1.0 ( it was in december 2005 ), it was
just an open source console-based little program which helped me to learn c and c++. I liked the idea, so I decided to continue
with the development. It became an easy to use, but at the same time, a very powerful contact menager. You can create as much
contacts as you want. The contacts can hold first and last name, home and cell phone, a web page, two e-mail addresses, city,
country, birthday, notes and even an icon! Those contacts can be easily found, saved, copied, pasted, etc... Now you can even
sort your document by any field in ascending or descending order. One of new features of Phonebook is that you can also print
some or all contacts in a Phonebook document. To find out more, download Phonebook, and see changes.txt!

Web Design From Scratch Web design is a complex discipline that involves a wide range of skills. I notice that some of the most basic skills
are lacking in many web site designs.
Those basic skills are quite simple, but can be hard to gain because of a lack of teaching material. That's what WDFS aims
to solve!

leahey.org Check this site out. I especially like the link categories and below is one example:
Five best how to sites:
eHow and
wikihow: Both exceedingly useful how-to websites, both for geeks and non-geeks. I find the wiki much more useful,
and the subject matter is much more diversified, from health to relationships, finance to tech.
Makezine and
Makezine/Blog: MAKE magazine is about the coolest magazine on the market. I highly recommend
getting a real subscription, but the next best thing is definitely the blog. Updated daily, there are tons and tons of awesome
how-tos and guides to be had.
Instructables: My personal favorite, Instructables.com took an awesome idea and produced an
awesome how-to website.
It makes posting how-to’s with pictures exceedingly easy, and more and more users are taking advantage.
CNet Howto: This is a mostly-tech howto and tip/trick website, but useful nonetheless. Good browseability.
delicious tagged howto: Del.icio.us is a repository for lots of useful information, and the subject of howto is no different. Tons of useful
links, updated frequently.
