WIN AUDIT

WinAudit is easy to use, no special knowledge is required to use the programme.
It is a self-contained single file that needs no installation or configuration. It can be run from a floppy disk or USB stick.
Simply download the programme and double click on it. User interface translations have been kindly contributed by several
people, if possible WinAudit will automatically start in your language. The programme reports on virtually every aspect of computer inventory and configuration.

AutoRuns This utility, which has the most comprehensive knowledge of auto-starting
locations of any startup monitor, shows you what programs are configured to run during system bootup or login, and shows you
the entries in the order Windows processes them. These programs include ones in your startup folder, Run, RunOnce, and other
Registry keys. You can configure Autoruns to show other locations, including Explorer shell extensions, toolbars,
browser helper objects, Winlogon notifications, auto-start services, and much more. Autoruns goes way beyond the
MSConfig utility bundled with Windows Me and XP. No doubt this is very detailed
about all aspects of what's installed on your pc and when it's running.

AIDA 32

AIDA32 is a system information and benchmarking tool with full hardware & software
information on 80 pages. It comes with a built-in hardware database and physical information for CPU, motherboard, hard disks,
optical drives, chipset and much more. It can display the information on-screen, print it, or save it as a report in various
formats including HTML, CSV and XML. The built in diagnostics module can help you find potential problems. AIDA32 offers support
for ADO/ODBC database connections as well as TCP/IP remote access. Additional features include command-line switches, network
audit and audit statistics and network management. An easy to use report wizard allows you to create detailed reports in the
format of your choice or save the information to a database. The program is extremely well featured and very nicely done.
On top of all, it does not require an install, but runs standalone from its own folder. This
is the best one I have found so far and it goes beyond just giving you the system information, try it and you'll see. Three

LookInMyPC utilizes a single, easy to use screen that allows you to select the
items you are most interested in. One of the most useful features is the ability to "Generate report and Email".
When you select this option, LookInMyPC will generate the report and display it in your browser the same way as it would if
you selected "Generate Report". At the same time, it will also create a ZIP file of the report and open up your
default email program and create a new message with the zipped LookInMyPC profile already attached to the message. You simply
enter the address you want to send the report to, and click "send" and off it goes. This can be a tremendously useful
feature when you have a problem and need to contact a software or hardware vendors tech support department. They can have
a full profile of your computer at their fingertips to help you diagnose and fix the problem quickly.
