XNeat contains Taskbar Utility (Taskbar's entries manager) named Taskbar Arranger that helps you in managing your windows Taskbar's Items.

Taskbar Arranger allows you to sort Taskbar Items the way you want as MS Windows sorts the applications by the order they were opened with.

Taskbar Sorter lets you sort Taskbar items easily using the mouse (drag and drop any Taskbar item to the new position).

XNeat Taskbar Manager Once you try it, you will love it...!

TaskArrange is a simple utility that lets you rearrange the buttons of the Windows taskbar.

Sometimes we open our programs in a specific sequence, to keep their taskbar buttons in a desired order. But what happens if a program crashes or we close it, and then we open it again? That's right - its task button ends up last in the taskbar. Windows itself does not allow us to move the task buttons around, so we are stuck with two options: either accept the new order, or close everything and reopen them in the preferred order. TaskArrange brings an end to this annoyance, by letting us do exactly what we want: reorder the task buttons.

Hide It Do you use some application that you must keep running all day long, but you don't really need to check often? Do you run MS Exchange as a network FAX server and should keep it always open? Hide-It is for you!

Hide-it allows you to hide any application window and it's button in the taskbar, the application is also removed from the Alt-Tab chain, so it won't disturb your task switching, it's just as if it wasn't there. You can later access it's window un-hiding it, you just need to right-click in the small Hide-it's icon in the system tray area and select it.

Hide-it is only 74 Kb, You can always download the most recent version from this web, That link will start the download.

This is an older program but I had to try it and it works great on my XP machine.

KS Tray This is a utility that allows you to minimize any program to your system tray area and remove it from the task bar. You can define any program, and you can also define your own icon to use! KSTray will remember the program the next time you run it as well. At any time, you can show or hide the program window.

NotAgain is a very simple program to start programs. It offers you a menu with YOUR commands from the system tray, the little icon box on the taskbar. The program is very lean and clean; no bells or whistles and uses very little resources. As a bonus you can also assign hotkeys to the programs on YOUR menu. Any program that can be started with a commandline can be used with NotAgain.

Tray Tools 2000 allows you to place up to 24 program icons in the Taskbar Tray. Program icons that you place there can be launched by simply clicking your mouse on them.

To add new programs or modify existing items click your mouse on the small red toolbox icon displayed in the tray. You can also modify an existing program icon by right-clicking on it directly from the Taskbar Tray. This one works fine on my XP O.S. also.

The Wonderful Icon The Wonderful Icon 2.2 is a small Windows utility that resides in your PC's taskbar tray. Try it and you'll be hooked!

TWI has lots of wonderful features. With it, you can:

  • Assign hotkeys for common tasks such as minimize windows, restart Windows, etc.
  • Minimize programs onto the taskbar tray instead of just onto the taskbar, either by a keystroke or by right-clicking a window's Minimize button with your mouse
  • Configure a menu of easily-accessible commands
  • Increase or decrease speaker volume with the press of a button
  • Automatically run programs at start-up, and hide them, minimize them to the taskbar tray, etc.
  • Lots more!
  • Oh yeah, and it's free!

Here are eight screenshots of the Wonderful Icon in Action!

Free Launch Bar is a Free replacement for the standard Quick Launch bar. All functions presented in Quick Launch are also in Free Launch Bar. However, the Free Launch Bar is fully compatible with Quick Launch because it uses the same folder for shortcuts. But there is one huge difference. Free Launch Bar allows you to combine your shortcuts into groups. This feature looks like popup menus. This vastly improves the management of your shortcuts and save working space on your desktop. By using Free Launch Bar, you speed up the launching of your applications like never before.
