Mozilla Thunderbird, Integrated with Gmail
The latest version of Thunderbird, Mozilla's email client, lets you add a Gmail account without entering any other detail than your email address. The account wizard's poor wording might mislead people into
thinking that Gmail is not a mail service, and it also forgets you to tell you how to enable POP3 in Gmail.
Among other new features, Thunderbird 2.0 adds message tagging, saved searches, more descriptive alerts that
include email snippets. I did check it out and here came the gmail, I had forgetten to send pop 3 received after enabling
pop 3, dummie!

have to put in a plug for Inbox . You
get 2GB of storage, you can upload music, images, files, and have your own little storage place. You also have a calender,
to do list, contacts folder, responder, and if you want to download their toolbar an email notifier which I was not that fond
of. You can change the look of the inbox in many ways different templates,skins, etc. Let's see did I leave anything
out.Yes you can set up you pop 3 account right there if you like. Thumbs up from me so far. One more thing a powerful editor
with endless features.
I guess most everyone has heard of the one and
only Incredimail but it is very unique no doubt. One thing is for sure you can give your emails a different look and you will
get reminded of new mail as it arrives.
I guess we don't really realize how much of an
impact email has on everyday computer activities, heck could we do without it...
